Detailed instructions are included in the package. The trays require assembly, which is quick and fun, using ordinary PVA glue. This product consists of a flat-pack of 6 Evacore sheets. With everything packed right the lid will close flush with the box. Lastly go the rulebook and scoring board. First go the faction boards, followed by the research board in it's wider recess holding it in place. The boards and rules go on top of the trays acting as a lid, allowing the game to be stored vertically. The setup had an advanced tech at the top of the Gaia Project track that gives an ongoing bonus of 3 VP every time the player builds a mine, and Pavol mistakenly put the one that gives an ongoing bonus for trading stations in its place. The card trays are sized to fit sleeved cards. Pavol is interpreting the tech tile correctly he just had the wrong one in the game. There are the trays for the remaining game cards, tokens and tiles. Just wondering what youve found Hey folks, My group and I have played Gaia Project several times lately and really enjoy it. If you just go for RL+TS+M(+M), you end up with also one tech tile and potentially 3 tech steps, since you convert your leeched power to knowledge. Getting that third tech step is hard, since you need your power for QICs. Youd end up with one tech tile and 2 tech steps. Our regs have all played 3-4 times now on the premade map, and Id like to move on to the competitive race draft/map building. I dont get, why the PI+4QIC opening is considered good. Note that each type of token/tile has it's own slot to make access easier during game-play. Hey folks, My group and I have played Gaia Project several times lately and really enjoy it. There are trays for the federation tokens and the standard tech and round booster tiles. Three similar sized trays also store the scoring tiles, the advanced tech tiles and the QI cubes. These can be used in-game to store the components not yet placed on the board. These are held in place by the other trays around them.Įach faction has their own tray for it's pieces. Note the space reserved on the left for the space sector tiles. With the top layer removed you can see the second layer of trays underneath. The rules and boards act as a lid on top of the trays. The trays can be utilized during the game, and they greatly aid set-up and clear-away times. The design provides both efficient storage and improved game play.
